Canada Travel Specialist (GTR1608)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with this fabulous tour operator in Gloucestershire who are looking for a Canada Travel Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Canada Travel Specialist you will be managing sales enquiries for customers travelling to Canada. You will be the point of contact from the first enquiry all the way through until the client returns and you will use your destination knowledge and infectious enthusiasm to drive sales growth.

Previous experience selling FIT trips to Canada is essential to be considered for this role.

The role:

• Designing Canada holiday packages including booking flights and ground arrangements
• Presenting comprehensive travel itineraries to clients
• Coordinating with multiple suppliers
• Overseeing and being heavily involved in the product development for Canada
• Collaborating with the web and marketing teams to enhance the website and increase lead generation

You will have:

• Previous experience selling Canada as a destination is essential along with being well travelled throughout the country
• Interest in being involved in product development
• The drive to succeed in a sales role
• Ability to work well in a team and autonomously from home
• Excellent communication skills

Additional Information:

• Salary £28-33,000 (depending on experience) plus commission (OTE £35-50,000)
• Hybrid working model until you pass probation and then remote with just one day in the office per month
