Gecko Travel Recruitment are working exclusively with a start up OTA which is backed by a global organisation. As part of their start up strategy, they are looking to hire a Commercial Manager.
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for building strong relationships with travel partners such as Travel Agents, Airlines and Hotels to showcase their platform and agree commercial terms, supporting the growth and introduction of our client to the UK & Ireland travel trade.
This is a hybrid role with our clients head office in Dublin where you'll either work hybrid if based in the local area, or more remote with regular visits to the office if based in the UK.
The Role:
- To devise and implement and sales strategy to introduce this new OTA to the market
- To agree commercial terms with partners and support the onboarding of new clients
- To draw on your network to drive sales and make introductions to the platform
- To work closely with the marketing team on commercial driven campaigns
- Support the customer experience, feeding back any issues or concerns
- Be responsible for hiring your own team to support the ambitious growth plans
You must have:
- An Online Travel Agency background is preferred
- Self motivated and driven to achieve results
- To share ideas with the senior leadership team on sales strategies
- Excellent client relationships skills
- A good understanding and network within the online travel sector
