Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with this wonderful tour operator based in London who are seeking a Head of Marketing to join their team on a 14 month maternity cover.
As Head of Marketing, you will oversee a team of five across two travel brands, managing multi-channel campaigns while leading the development and execution of the annual marketing plan. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing Director and Digital Manager to define and implement SEO and PPC strategies, aiming to increase website traffic and generate new leads.
A proven track record in a senior marketing position within the B2C travel industry is essential to be considered for this role.
The role:
- Leading the development and execution of the annual marketing plan
- Managing and guiding a team of 5
- Overseeing the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are executed withing financial limits
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on all marketing initiatives
- Creating and implementing SEO and PPC strategies to boost website traffic and drive new lead generation
- Preparing and presenting regular reports on marketing performance to the senior trading team
You will have:
- Worked in a similar senior marketing role within the travel industry (B2C)
- Experience managing a busy team
- Proven experience in effectively collaborating with and managing agencies
- The ability to analyse data and derive insights to guide decision-making
- Proficiency in setting up and managing customer journey automations, with experience in Pardot and Salesforce advantageous
- Outstanding attention to detail
