Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with this Specialist Tour Operator who are looking for an Adventure Travel Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. As Adventure Travel Consultant you will be dedicated to delivering exceptional travel experiences for both new and returning customers. We're seeking someone with a travel background and/or a passion for cycling or adventure travel.  The role: Handling sales enquiries and customer queries through phone, email, and live chat Managing and processing bookings, including handling reservations for unconfirmed trips Processing customer balances Following up on post tour customer feedback Completing general administrative tasks Addressing customer feedback and resolving complaints professionally to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction You will have: Passion for travel and or cycling/adventure holidays Meticulous attention to detail Exceptional communication skills both written and spoken Genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service Ability to work well under pressure and keep calm during peak times Previous travel industry experience (advantageous but not essential) Additional Information: Salary £24,500-28,000 (depending on experience) Fully office based with some flexibility for hybrid working after probation Full training given Monday to Friday 9.
