Cruise Turnaround Coordinator (GTR1669)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to working with this rapidly expanding travel business who are looking to hire a Cruise Turnaround Coordinator to join their team.

Reporting into the Head of Operations, the Cruise Turnaround Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the smooth disembarkation and embarkation of the ship from regional ports. Working alongside onboard and landside crews following company procedures.

This is a full time, office based role in Essex. Easy access to the port is essential for this role, driving license is essential.

The Role:

• To provide support on the administration of the ships turnarounds, such as sailing reports, pre and post cruise transportation
• Attending the home port (Essex) turnarounds
• To gather and collate customer feedback and support on resolving any customer complaints
• Coordinate ship visitor requests
• Support the administration of guests onward journeys worldwide, such as flights, hotels, and transfers
• Adhoc tasks in relation to ships arrivals and departures

You must have:

• Ideally some cruise experience, in sales, operations or guest services
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Available to travel at short notice
• Good relationship skills
• Customer first outlook

Additional Information:

• Salary £25-28,000 per annum
