Event Operations Coordinator (GTR1648)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with this wonderful Educational Travel Company who are looking for an a Event Operations Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Event Operations Coordinator, you will ensure that the operational details of our events are effectively and timely planned in advance. This includes booking venues, confirming accommodation and transportation arrangements, and coordinating the logistics for multiple groups.

This is a fully office based role working from their modern offices in Surrey.

The role:

• Preparing tour documentation and supporting literature with precision and high quality
• Managing accommodation allocations
• Handling payment acknowledgements, invoices and final travel documents
• Liaising with suppliers to source and confirm key tour elements
• Source and oversee rates and options from accommodation suppliers
• General administration tasks across all areas to support any ad hoc business needs

You will have:

• Excellent multi tasking abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to resolve problems, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Full understanding of delivering exceptional customer service
• Travel industry experience (advantageous)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and accurate written and spoken English
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Salary £22-25,500 per annum (depending on experience)
