Finance Manager (GTR1695)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are pleased to be working with new client in their search for a Finance Manager. This is a new role in the business reporting directly into the Director of Finance and IT.

As Finance Manager you will manage a team of finance leads ensuring the production of timely and accurate financial information, maintain and improve financial controls and processes.

Previous experience in a broad finance role and people management experience is essential to be considered for this Finance Manager role.

The role:

• Overseeing and supporting the production of the month end process, annual budgets, and financial reporting
• Line managing a team of 4 finance leads including credit control and payroll, holding regular 121's and team meetings, supporting and developing the team
• Leading the cash management, treasury management and cash forecasting
• Working closely with the Finance Director to maintain and improve financial controls and processes
• Working with the Finance Director to prepare for the annual audit including the production of the annual accounts, supporting documentation and actioning the auditors recommendations

You will have:

• An accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
• Previous experience in a broad finance role
• People management experience
• Confidence and competency with IT and finance systems

Additional information:

• Salary £60-63,000 depending on experience
• Based in London (SE1)
• Hybrid working model with 3 days in the office 2 days at home
• 33 days annual leave (including public holidays)
