Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with this leading travel business who are recruiting a Japan Travel Consultant to join their team in Denmark, on a permanent basis.
As Japan Travel Consultant you will provide tailored travel advice and collaborate with a dynamic team to create high-quality itineraries and proposals. Focusing on both B2C sales and exceptional customer service, you'll drive our growth and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Fluency in both English and Norwegian is essential, along with experience working for a travel agency or tour operator planning outbound travel to Japan, or personal travel experience to the region.
The role:
- Designing personalised itineraries that cater to each client's unique travel needs and preferences
- Providing customised travel consultations via phone, email and face to face to clients visiting Japan
- Working towards set sales targets and successfully close deals
- Create high-quality proposals and travel documents
- Handling invoicing and payments
- Providing outstanding customer care and post-sales support
You will have:
- Previous experience in the travel industry
- Experience of planning travel to Japan or personal travel to the region.
- Both Norwegian and English language skills
- Proven sales experience
- Proficiency in Amadeus GDS is desirable
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
