Gecko Travel Recruitment are excited to be working with this wonderful and award winning adventure travel company who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Management Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director and is an integral part of a small finance team. You will collaborate closely with teams across the company and may have opportunities to contribute to projects beyond the finance function.
We are looking for someone who is able to work with large amounts of data, and so strong excel skills are a must, as data interpretation will form a large part of the role.
The role:
- Ensuring accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with processing of weekly supplier payments
- Supporting the preparation of quarterly team presentations and board reports
- Assisting with regular reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts
- Supporting with regular month end processes, including posting of journals
You will have:
- Ability to interpret and present large volumes of data in a clear and concise format
- ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or qualified through experience
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Windows OS and other Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in a similar role in the travel industry (preferred but not essential)
Additional Information :
- Salary £38-42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
