Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with this leading Tour Operator based in London who are looking for a Reservations Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.
As Reservations Consultant you will engage with the general public and travel agents, handling inquiries and selling unforgettable holidays to stunning destinations worldwide. Delivering exceptional customer service will be central to everything you do.
Travel industry experience is advantageous but not essential but you must have a genuine passion for travel.
The role:
- Managing the entire package holiday process, from initial quote to booking confirmation, including flights, accommodation, and transfers
- Creating bespoke island-hopping itineraries using our in-house reservations system
- Providing exceptional service to both direct customers and travel agents
- Liaising with external suppliers for special requests
- Handling all related administrative tasks for bookings, ensuring that all information is accurately passed to the appropriate departments and suppliers
You will have:
- Travel industry experience is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of overseas geographical regions
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express a message clearly and persuasively
- Ability to work flexible working hours
Additional Information:

- Hybrid working model minimum 2 days in the office (Thursday essential)
