Sales Manager (GTR1662)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with this innovative travel business who are recruiting a Sales Manager to join their team to be based in their offices in either Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

As Sales Manager you will be leading a dedicated team and building our brand presence in the DACH market.

This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial and well-connected Sales Manager to develop three key markets in a dynamic and rapidly growing sector of the industry. The role:

• Create and execute impactful sales strategies that align with overall business objectives
• Inspire, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve success both individually and as a group
• Proactively identify and secure new B2B accounts
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement successful sales campaigns and promotional initiatives
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business growth
• Deliver outstanding customer service by ensuring the timely resolution of escalated issues and inquiries

You will have:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience sales management within the travel industry, with a proven ability to achieve targets
• Good experience in sales outbound from DACH ideally to Japan or Asia
• German and English speaking language skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team toward achieving success
• Ability to work well under pressure and keep calm during peak times
• Knowledge of Japan as a destination or fluency in Japanese is a plus
