Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with this innovative travel business who are recruiting a Sales Travel Consultant to join their team based in Germany.
As Sales Travel Consultant you will provide tailored travel advice and collaborate with a dynamic team to create high-quality itineraries and travel proposals. Focusing on both B2C sales and exceptional customer service, you'll drive growth and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction.
It is essential to be both German and English speaking and ideally have some experience of planning outbound travel to Japan/ Asia to be considered for this role.
The role:
- Designing personalised itineraries that cater to each client's unique travel needs and preferences
- Providing customised travel consultations via telephone, email and face to face to clients visiting Japan
- Working towards set sales targets and successfully close deals
- Creating high-quality proposals and travel documents
- Handling invoicing and payments
- Providing outstanding customer care and post sales support
You will have:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the travel industry, with a focus on B2C sales
- Both German and English language skills
- Experience of planning outbound travel to Japan/ Asia
- Excellent team player committed to providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure and keep calm during peak times
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
