Senior Travel Specialist (Entertainment) (GTR1699)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with music and entertainment travel business in their search for a Senior Travel Specialist.

 

As a Senior Travel Specialist in this exciting and fast paced business you will manage your own client base of high-profile clients. You will be managing their end-to-end travel and logistical requirements.

 

A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and experience using Galileo is essential for this role.

 

The role:

• Manage complex and high-profile client accounts taking ownership of their end-to-end travel requirements
• Arrange all elements of their travel requests including flights, accommodation, ground transportation and VIP services.
• Utilise you Galileo expertise to handle bookings including reissues, refunds, and last-minute itinerary changes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, management teams and travel partners
• Deliver excellent proactive service ensuring seamless delivery no matter how last-minute or complex the request

 

You will have:

• 5+ years in a travel role with 2+ years managing high-profile clients or complex entertainment clients
• Advanced GDS experience ideally Galileo including reissues, refunds, complex itinerary changes
• Outstanding client management skills, fostering those relationships, and handling any escalations
• Be detailed orientated and a problem solver who thrivers under pressure
• Experience of business development, securing new opportunities within the entertainment industry
• Demonstrate resilience and a calm approach when in a fast-paced high-pressure environment

Additional information:

• Salary circa £40-45k
• Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
