Travel Consultant - India/Sri Lanka (GTR1635)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are excited to be working with this wonderful travel business who are seeking an India and/or Sri Lanka Travel Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.

As an India/Sri Lanka Travel Consultant, you will work alongside an experienced Travel Team to provide exceptional service and craft unforgettable adventures. You'll aim to meet ambitious sales targets while ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction, fostering client loyalty for future trips, and generating valuable referrals.

Previous experience selling tailor-made travel to India and or Sri Lanka is essential to be considered for this role.

The role:

• Creating bespoke, unforgettable holidays for your customers travelling to India and or Sri Lanka
• Providing outstanding service to customers that encourage repeat business
• Meeting and exceeding set sales targets
• Providing valuable input to the product department to improve the company product offering
• Building relationships with our trade partners

You will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience selling India and or Sri Lanka as a destination (essential)
• Experience selling other regions of South Asia is advantageous 
• Genuine passion for travel
• Strong sales focus
• Outstanding communication skills with a customer focused approach
• Excellent organisational skills

• Salary £35-45,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus
