Gecko Travel Recruitment are thrilled to be working with this award-winning cruise company based in London who are looking for a Customer Services Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Customer Services Executive, you will be responsible for handling all pre- and post-cruise enquiries and correspondence from guests via telephone, email, or letter. You will have previous experience working within a Customer Services environment and a proven track record in exceeding guest expectations.

This role would suit someone working in a Customer Services/Guest Relations role for a travel company or a hotel. 

The role:

  • Ensuring a high standard of guest service and communication is consistently delivered
  • Handling enquiries via telephone, letters and email
  • Demonstrating a sense of urgency and prioritising correspondence as required
  • Ensuring all information provided is completely accurate and fully addresses the guest's questions during every interaction
  • Maintaining the highest level of written communications for pre and post travel correspondence
  • Investigating and resolving all complaints promptly and fairly, following company processes and industry guidelines, to achieve the best possible outcome for both the guest and the business

You will have:

  • Minimum Six months' experience of working in a customer/guest services environment
  • Travel/hospitality industry experience
  • Experience dealing with and resolving customer complaints
  • Exceptional guest services and administration skills
  • Excellent communications skills, written and interpersonal

Additional Information:

  • Salary £23-25,000 depending on experience plus commission and incentives
  • Hybrid working model after initial training period of approximately 2 months
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns between the hours of 08:00am and 8.00pm
  • 5 days out of 7 on a rotational basis including weekends
  • Weekends can be worked from home
